Lynn Montgomery

Family: Married with one daughter

Community Involvement:She has served on the Town Council since 2011 and is a past Mayor Pro Tem. Past President and Vice President of the Jamestown Business Association. Volunteer with the GO FAR (Go Out For A Run) at Jamestown Elementary School. Member of the GO FAR Board of Directors. Served on the Planning and Zoning Board and Master Pedestrian Plan Steering Committee. Former Finance Committee Chairman for the Historic Jamestown Society. Council liaison to the Planning Board.

Georgia Nixon

Education: Ragsdale High School , NC State, Campbell Law University

Professional History: Assistant District Attorney until 1995, and then opened Nixon Law Offices, PA. Owner & President of Nixon Law Offices, PA.

Family: Georgia is proud to say that she has lived in Jamestown her entire life. She has 2 daughters, Elaina Catherine and Hannah Sophia, both in college.

Community Involvement: Board Certified Specialist in State and Federal Criminal Law Member NC Academy of Trial Lawyers, National Association of Criminal Defense attorney's, Guilford Inns of Court, Guilford County Bar Association, and a member of Who's Who. Town appointed alternate delegate to the High Point Metropolitan Planning Organization. She has served on the Jamestown Town Council since 2007 and is a past Mayor Pro Tem.

John Capes

Education: University of Tennessee, Knoxville (Economics and Business Administration)

Professional History: Currently Call Center Manager, Past has been a Retail Store General Manager

Family: Married for 27 years to Vickie (a very patient woman). He has three children, 2 sons (Zack & Kevin) and 1 daughter (Jessica). Also two cats (Evil and Joeybagofdoughtnuts).

Community Involvement:A very happy resident of Jamestown since 2003, he has proudly served on the Planning and Zoning Board from 2012-2017. He has previously been active with the March of Dimes. He is also a supporter of the Children's Home of North Carolina (having been adopted himself). Additionally, he is a contributor to several Adoption reunion websites and related efforts for children looking to reunite/meet with their birth parents. He went through the process himself and continues to try and serve as a resource to those going through similar circumstances.

Rebecca Mann Rayborn

Education: Ragsdale High School; BA in English from North Carolina State University; MA in Women's and Gender Studies from UNC Greensboro

Professional History: Co-owner of the Jamestown-based Engage North Carolina, a nonprofit consulting and training business; Former civic engagement/advocacy and program director with nonprofit organizations including the YWCA Greensboro, YWCA High Point, and Equality North Carolina

Family: Married (Cory) with one daughter (Katherine)

Community Involvement: Volunteer Guardian ad Litem, Guilford County; Leadership Council Member, NC Institute of Political Leadership; President, UNCG Friends of Women’s and Gender Studies; Served on boards of directors for the Triad Health Project and Guilford Coalition on Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention (GCAPP); Former Loaned Executive and Program Review Team Member, United Way of Greater High Point



Martha Stafford Wolfe

Education: Graduated from Ragsdale High School. Attended Colorado State University and GTCC.

Professional History: Licensed Real Estate Broker and worked in the family real estate business for 14 years. Town Clerk for the Town of Jamestown for 21 years. Received CMC and NCCMC designations from the NC School of Government Chapel Hill. Jamestown's representative on the PTRWQ Partnership and Partnership Secretary for 13 years.

Family: One son, Gray Wolfe and daughter-in-law Sidney Wolfe and one precious grandson, Oakley Wolfe.

Community Involvement: Martha was born in Jamestown and has been active in community events. She was involved in the Jamestown Rotary Club Christmas Parade for 17 years. She organized the Jamestown Fall and Spring Littersweep campaigns and the Jamestown National Night Out. She has been active in the JBA over the last 20 years and has participated in the Christmas on Main and Jamestown Day events. Martha organized the Jamestown Christmas Tree lighting which was held at Town Hall and then moved to the Jamestown Public Library. She served on the Centennial Celebration Committee for the Old School Celebration as well as numerous other community events.

Martha received the Greensboro Airport Rotary Club Service Above Self Award, Jamestown Rotary Club Volunteer Award, Certificate of Appreciation from the Jamestown Veterans Committee and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Martha served on the Board of Managers for the Ragsdale YMCA and a past Board Member of the American Red Cross. She also served as the Town's United Way Representative coordinating the employee gift giving campaign.
